Not Guilty - Sexual Child Abuse

Another Trial Win for Boeheim Freeman Law

After over a year of waiting for his day in court our client was found NOT GUILTy by a jury of his peers. Facing 25 years to Life and the full force of the Tulsa District Attorney’s office, the Criminal Litigation Team at Boeheim Freeman Law unmasked the inconstant statements made by the almost 17 year old complaining witness, and uncovered the hidden motivation for the horrible accusation. The jury deliberated for almost four hours, coming back with a unanimous NOT GUILT verdict.

Cross-Examination

Brian Boeheim, lead attorney for the Defendant, thoroughly cross-examined the lead detective to demonstrate there was absolutely no effort made to corroborate the complaining witness accusations. The detective never even visited the alleged crime scene to confirm the complaining witnesses story. Mr. Boeheim also questioned the complaining witness, who’s story eventually crumbled under his careful and precise cross-examination. Under the pressure of cross-examination, the complaining witness was unable to explain inconsistencies in her story and even tried to blame a court reporter for her failure to recall events accurately.

Another Not Guilty - Sexual Child Abuse

Being accused of touching a child is one of the most heinous accusations that one can face. Everyone immediately assumes you are guilty. Most attorneys won’t go near theses cases, let alone attempt to take them to trial, but the Criminal Defense Team at Boeheim Freeman Law proudly took this case knowing it was going to most likely going to trial. Many Defendant’s fold under the pressure and risk of decades of incarceration, and plea to something they didn’t do. This client refused to fold under the pressure and consistently proclaimed his innocence, even on the stand in front of a jury of 12 of his peers. After a surgically precise closing argument by Mr. Boeheim, picking apart every accusation and bit of the State’s testimony, the jury came back with a verdict of NOT GUILTY. The client left the courtroom a free man and can live out his days with his loving wife.
